LIVING A LIFESTYLE OF WORSHIP
These books have been prepared with the intention of
developing people worldwide into worshippers who know how to worship the
Father in spirit and in truth, and then they in turn help to mentor and develop
others in worship. Both books are not just for the worship ministry of the
local church such as worship leaders, singers and musicians, but is for each
member of the Body of Christ, so that as they work through the pages of each
section, they will have a full understanding of praise and worship and the
responsibility placed upon them.
By the time you have completed your workbook, you will have a deeper love for
God and thereby a more fulfilling worship experience, plus a greater love for
His people. Remember that worship lifestyle is more than just singing songs
in church. Our whole life should be a life of worship where we are ready and
willing to serve the Lord and to serve others.
THE PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
i) To bring to each individual, a greater understanding
of God’s desire for fellowship and communion with us and for us to take our
place of reigning with Him.
ii) To understand the makeup of mankind and
consider the various conditions of the human heart and how these various
conditions affect the way we live and how we treat others.
iii) To give a deep understanding of the meaning of
thanksgiving, praise and worship and consider what God means by the
expression ‘worshipping in Spirit and in Truth.
iv) To look at what it means to be “living
sacrifices” and some of the things that become obstacles and distractions to
us bringing a suitable offering of ourselves and our worship to God. Also, to
consider what it means by the Sacrifice of Praise.
v) To develop within each individual a greater
love for God and a day by day personal worship experience where they start to
know God in a new dimension.
vi) To consider praise and worship in the
lives of King David and thereby learn how our worship is to be presented to
God.
vii) To understand the power of the prophetic
and seek to develop it in one’s life through practical application.
