Rod Best has been in the Christian music scene for over 26 years. In that time he has worked with such people as Geoff Bullock, Chris Falson, Dave Evans, Tim Uleweira, some of the Midday Show Band members (including Doug Gallagher, Phil Scorgie and Rex Goe), Tony Ansell (of Galapagos Duck and previously with Don Burrows) and of recent days Olivia Mc Clurkin (previously backing vocalist for Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, George Michael).

His work has involved training and developing of singers, musicians and worship leaders towards excellence, both in what they do and in pursuit of a heart after God, music arrangments for small stage band through to large orchestras, direction of major musical productions and song composition. Over the past few years, Rod has recorded three original Praise and Worship Albums "Times of Refreshing", "Lord I Give You Praise" and "Wings Of The Wind", and has produced a number of albums for various artists. Rod studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Jazz Improvisation and Advanced Arranging, developing a wealth of experience in composition and arrangement in jazz and contemporary keyboarding styles. He has also studied under such jazz players as Tony Ansell, Mike Nock, Michael Bartolomei, Chuck Yates, Judy Bailey, Dave Fennell, Vince Genova and Kevin Hunt. Rod has a passion to see musicians singers and worship leaders rise to their full potential, using their gifts to bring glory to God and blessing to others.
